Scholarship Fund

Each year, depending on the availability of contributed funds, scholarships are awarded to Florida students with visual impairments. These awards are based on the students' future goals and academic standing.

Publications

VAVF publishes a quarterly newsletter which is sent to all members to keep them informed and up-to-date on important new and braille code changes. Articles may include: updates to braille codes; skills columns for braille, taping or translation typing; purpose, function, or other activities of similar organizations; information about upcoming events and/or conferences; historical information; a list of officers and consultants; and a membership/contribution form.

Financing

All of VAVF's operating expenses are derived from minimal annual membership fees and contributions. Scholarship awards are based solely on contributions
